Time to car shop ... again

So Saturday afternoon, N had to go to work. He leaves, and shortly after I get a call from him to come pick him up to take him to work ... his exhaust pipe (something along those lines, in case he reads this and corrects me) fell off, but not all the way off, just enough to drag it. Bring it in, have them check the car out (since we knew there was more that needed done), and to fix the car up completely would be over $2000, $1600 for the bare minimum, or $35 to drive it off the lot without them doing a damn thing to it (which is the option we went with). So, time to go car shopping again ... lucky us! At least this time, we don't have to really worry if a car seat will fit in the car.

OW! My butt!

OMG ... I'm so sick of being sick. Went to the doctor Aug. 20 ... sinus infection ...got drugs ... got better ... then allergies hit and hit hard before it cleared up completely apparently. Within a few days, I'm calling the doctor back up ... more drugs (FYI, Ceftin = NASTIEST DRUG EVER!) -- this was last Friday. Went back into the doctor today, and ... I STILL have the frigging sinus infection. Got yet more drugs ... plus a shot in the butt to help clear things up. Get drugs filled, get home ... read side effects like I always do before I take a drug, especially while I'm nursing, and it says not to take while breastfeeding (actually it said DO NOT TAKE WHILE BREASTFEEDING, which tells me probably not a good idea for me to take it). Annoys the snot out of me, since I'd asked the pharmacist if it was ok for me to take, and he said it was. So call the doctor back up, and he's prescribing me something else ... what a way to spend a Saturday, constantly running to Walgreens for drugs. Which reminds me, I should double check that the new drug is OK for me to take ...

Oh, and if this doesn't clear things up I get to go see and ENT ... let me just say, not sure I want to have the surgery N had done in May ...
