Stupid Neighbors

Yesterday after work I went to our leasing agent, Jan, to talk about our downstairs neighbor leaving us a note wanting to speak with us (made N call -- I knew I'd either chicken out and not say boo or I'd completely rip her head off through the phone -- oh, and apparently C is lactose intolerant and needs to go on formula and is extremely fussy -- I didn't know this). Anyway, the feeling I got when I left the leasing agent (since Serah, the neighbor, had talked to her first) was that basically C can't cry between 10 pm and 6 am (how nice, since we have to leave for daycare before 6 am, she's guaranteed to cry when getting dressed and ready to eat), and can't cry for more than a couple minutes during the day. Tummy time is the only exception, since the doctor says we have to do it. I'm so pissed. And exhausted. Because of this, C slept through the night last night (of course, she was extra fussy last night because Mommy was super stressed out) and I didn't because I was staying awake apparently to hear her cry so she wouldn't wake anyone but me up. How many cans of Pepsi are safe to drink in a day? (Plus a frappacino that I have in the fridge?)

We were told that it's not ok for her to pound on the wall, and to remind her of this. That if she has a problem, she needs to come talk to us or call us. Calling us isn't an option since I won't let her have our phone number (unless Jan gives it to her, in which case I'll rip Jan a new one since I specifically told her I don't want Serah to have our phone number because I feel like she'd take advantage of having it and call us frequently over petty things). I guess if this happens, be prepared for me to be unreachable for awhile while I change phone numbers, which is a sad thought since I've had this number for over 10 years. I am hoping she does pound on our wall at 5:00 again some morning, so I can go knock on her door and make her get out of bed to face me.

Dude, I got a dell (Plus rant)

I got a Dell ... I got a Dell ... I got a Dell ... I got a Dell ... I got a Dell ...

Oh, and seriously, how hard is it to realize you live in an apartment, and you're building neighbors have a new baby and that babies fuss to communicate needs and that it's not always easy to figure out what need is needing to be met? Do you have to pound on the wall because the baby is crying? Do you really think that's going to help anything?

Happy Birthday to me!

It's official ... I'm 30. And had a nice, quiet (well, until about 10 minutes ago quiet :P) birthday. Got off for low volume early at work, picked T up from daycare and went shopping with her and C (got C some new duds) and visited my parents for a couple hours (and took almost an hour nap while I was there!)
